South Perth

Go back in time a century to promenade along the South Perth foreshore and down Mends St to the zoo like the early holidaymakers of Perth, while tracking an animal-napper. Suitable for younger children, this is a short(ish) and easy(ish) detective trail.

Bring: scooters or bikes; a picnic

Best side trip: obviously the zoo, but if you have time, the Old Mill museum

Best day and time: not Monday (the Old Mill is closed then)
